Hello and Welcome!My name is Leah and I go by Lovely or Lovely For Life on Social Media. My passion is making things mostly sewing clothing and handbags. I dabble in jewelry making, embroidery, paper crafts and almost anything creative. I learned to sew at 5 from my grandmother when I hand sewed a blanket together. I loved taking a piece of fabric and making it into something useful. I have sewn throughout my life from curtains, which I hate so don’t ask me to make 🙂 to gowns, pillows, blankets, costumes, coats, and everyday wear. About 4 years ago I got back into sewing in a big way. I sew about 75% of my own clothes, I took sewing instructor basic and advanced classes, became a sewing instructor, pattern tested for seven bag and clothing pattern companies, started a sewing blog, took custom client work, went to sewing retreats and so much more. Basically if I am not sewing I am thinking about sewing! 🙂 Currently I run my sewing blog Lovely For Life. I manage three sewing groups and admin another one. I just launched my sewing pattern brand with my first bag Posh Bracelet bag and am working on launching an online sewing school soon.
